Sirjang Lal Tandon, also known as "Jugi" Tandon, founded the Tandon Corporation in 1975, to produce magnetic recording heads for floppy disk drives. He transformed it into a leading world producer of floppy disk drives and personal computer systems. Prior to 1975, Jugi held various positions at IBM, Memorex and Pertec. Jugi holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Howard University, a Master of Science in mechanical engineering from Kansas State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. Jugi was also awarded an honorary Doctorate degree from Howard University for outstanding achievement in technology and business

We are a registered charity. Since opening in 2013, over 160,000 people, including 18,000 school pupils, have visited the Centre. Our visitors deserve a space which is engaging and inspiring, where they can feel a sense of adventure, exploration and wonder!
