Encourage your KS3 and KS4 students to engage with technology and STEM now, and as a career, by bringing them along to our Women in Computing: Her Story events for schools.

Available only for 3 & 4 October 2018 

Running on two consecutive days (with both days broadly similar) students will split into small groups in the morning to enjoy our new Women in Computing tour and to do fast paced, hands-on activities each with an electronic/computing/tech theme. Groups will joined by mentors from local tech companies, so the students can find out what working in tech is really all about.

After lunch, the afternoon gets underway with a high impact, unique performance designed to encourage students to reflect on how tech fits into their past, our present and their future, meeting some historical (and unexpected) characters along the way!

The day starts at 9:30am and finishes at 3pm. Note that students should stay for the whole day. Please encourage girls to attend.

Booking for this event is now open and is strictly limited to a maximum of 60 students for each day. Please only book the exact number of tickets for your needs. Tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. This event is FREE but booking must be made through our standard event booking system. You will not be asked for payment details.

* This event is part of our 2018 Women in Computing festival, called Her Story. Students will be able to interact with our Her Story exhibition during their visit.
