On 13th, 14th, 15th and 17th of December we'll be throwing open our doors for free to National Lottery players!

We are one of over 350 visitor attractions across the UK who are saying 'thanks' to people who have raised money for good causes by buying a lottery ticket.

Just turn up on any of these days with a National Lottery ticket and admission is free. No need to book.

We received funds from the Heritage Lottery Fund for our recent 'Viva Computer!: A People's History of Computing' project. That money allowed us to capture on video the personal stories of the engineers, inventors, designers, game developers, tech entrepreneurs and end users who have helped create the high-tech world we live in today. This audio-visual archive forms part of our wider archive and is available on this website here and at the museum. We want to give back to everyone who plays the lottery and makes this kind of work possible.

The small print:

• One National Lottery ticket provides free entry for up to one family/group of four people.
• All National Lottery games qualify for free entry, including tickets from any National Lottery draw-based game or National Lottery Scratchcard. Proof of ticket can be paper or digital.
• The offer is valid only on 13, 14, 15 and 17 December 2017. We are open 10am to 5pm each day. Offer is NOT valid on Saturday 16 December 2017.
• We reserve the right to refuse entry in the unlikely event of the venue reaching capacity, as well as in any other unforeseen circumstance.
• Charges will still apply in our shop and cafe.
