If you haven't experienced the amazing Playstation Virtual Reality headset this is your chance! On this special night, we'll have 8 Playstation Pro game consoles out with 6 configured in a multiplayer RIGS Mechanized Combat League set-up.

The guys from Sony and Guerrilla Cambridge will be here to tell you about this incredible game and how they see the future of gaming now that VR has created new possibilities for immersive gameplay.  

We'll start the evening at 7pm with an introduction to RIGS from the guys at Guerilla.

E-Sports Competition
There will then be an e-sports gaming event with 6 rounds of 6 players each with around 15 minutes of RIGS game play. Guerrilla staff, Gareth and matt will be commentating and exciting game play will projected on the big screen. The winners of each previous round will enter the final with a chance to claim the title and win a signed copy of the game and T-Shirt. If you've never been to an e-sports event you're going to love this!

If you're not into competitive gameplay ...
If you're not into competitive game play, we'll have at least two more Playstation VR set-ups for you to try out around the museum, so don't worry, you can experience the excitement of virtual reality without the competition.

Not only will you be able to experience cutting edge virtual reality, we'll also have out some of the machines in the museums collection that have tried to augment gameplay with 3D and virtual reality in the past ... remember the Nintendo Virtual Boy? We think you'll enjoy this display.

Please note that this event not suitable for children under the age of 12 due to the fact that the PSVR is not for use by children within this age range.
