Under the control of the Amstrad company, the Sinclair machines had really got a second wind by 1989, although only selling ever selling 128K machines, this led companies such as Ocean to produce only larger games for these machines. One of the most acclaimed of these was Chase H.Q, which managed to capture the feel of it's arcade parent, albeit in two colours, and was a better game than those that appeared on the 16 bit machines. The game has you in a police Porsche chasing down criminals, while avoiding innocent cars on the road, catch up to the criminal before the time runs out, or before they reach the border, they can be rammed off the road, with each hit making them smoke more, until they break down. After one is captured, it is onto the next.
