The results of meetings and negotiations can be crucially important to individuals or to nations. New countries may be created; boundaries may be changed; wars may be caused or prevented. But how are these decisions reached? How do negotiations really work? Conflict and Compromise is a flexible and imaginative package which allows students to simulate negotiations in the classroom. Students assume the role of negotiators - from leaders and politicians to industrialists and mine workers.
