4 Crash Smashes for Spectrum 48k, a compilation guaranteeing quality, as all games had scored over 90% in Crash Magazine, other compilations for the Commodore 64 and Amstrad would also be released.
Spy Hunter - An exciting vertical driving game, converted from the arcades, where the player must drive as fast as possible, taking out the drug cars, while watching out for oil and water which will cause them to crash.
Very now and then a bridge will be out, and the player will have to drive into a boathouse, to carry on with a speedboat. Oddly the game was given 89%, but still scored a Smash in Crash Magazine.
Night Gunner - You are alone in the tail of a bomber, it is up to you to keep the plane safe from those fighters attacking from behind.
Dun Darach - Another fantasy arcade adventure from Gargoyle Games, it is known, along with others in the series for it's excellent graphics and animation.
Alien 8 - Using the same graphics engine as Knight Lore, and looking quite close to it. The game actually expands on the gameplay somewhat. Controlling Rob the Robot, you must collect keys of different shapes, and find the corrosponding Cryo chambers and wake up the crew members inside, a task that must be completed before the timer runs out, and the ship crashes into a moon.
