Following the release of Commodore's first calculator in September/October 1971, the C110, which was an OEM version of the Bowmar 901B, Commodore introduced their own Minuteman 1 calculator which had been developed in-house in January 1972. By the end of 1972 the Minuteman 2 had been released. In late 1973, Commodore introduced the Minuteman 3 series. This was a popular model and there are a number of variations. The standard Commodore Minuteman 3 was a four-function calculator. Other models included the Minuteman 3 Metric, the Minuteman 3S, which had additional square root and square functions, the MM3R which had rechargeable batteries, the MM3P which had a percent key, and the MM3M which had a memory function. This example in our collection is the standard four-function model. The calculator had an eight-digit LED display. Ours is complete with a soft pouch.
