This book contains general information about the physical characteristics of
the IBM 3850 Mass Storage System and a general description of the
programming support provided by OS/VSI and 0S/VS2MVS operating systems.
It is for data-processing executives, operations personnel, field-service
personnel, system programmers, and application programmers so that they
can obtain both introductory knowledge of the Mass Storage System and
preinstallation planning information. Readers should be familiar with data
processing concepts and terminology.
