This technical bulletin is designed to aid in planning for the installa
tion of, and migration to, the JES2 component of MVS/SP Version 1 Release
3 Modification Level 3. (This is also the same level of JES2 in MVS/SP JES2 2. 1. 1. ) It is not intended to be a complete reference on all the fea tures of JES2; that information can be found in the standard documents available with the product. This document identifies those features of specific interest in a transition to the new JES2 component from the pre vious version of JES2 (MVS/SP 1.3.0). The 1.3.0 version of JES2 is the same JES2 found in 1. 3. 1 and 1. 3. 2. Included in the appendices are a foil presentation of the new JES2, plus an overview of the new Scheduler JCL Facility.
