Systom Modification Program Extended (SMP/E) Program Number 5668-949 is a licensed program product used to identify and install system modifications to an OS/VS operating system. It executes on and supports OS/VSl Releases 7.0 and 0S/VS2 Release 3.8.

In addition to providing new and enhanced capability it provides all the function provided by SMP 1.4. SMP/E provides interactive access via 0S/VS2 ISPF (Interactive Systems Productivity Facility) for MVS users. This document the Teminal User's Guide provides operational descriptions for those programmers who are to use these interactive facilities to invoke SMP/E processes. This is intended as a reference manual for the terminal user and not as a description of SMP/E.
