Several changes are made throughout the book to clarify or correct existing information (pages 312, 343, 362, 371, 374, 375, 457, 461, 466, 468-470), the removal of a restriction on using BIT data at virtual storage locations above 256 megabytes is documented in Appendix F (page 458), and a new index is supplied to index the new information (pages 471-488).
