74422 The Switching Off of LEO I


Description of Photograph

Two black and white photographs depicting the original team of scientists who designed and built LEO I just before it was turned off for the last time. Scientists included are;

  • Mr E. Lenaerts
  • Mr J. Pinkerton
  • Mr T. R. Thompson
  • Mr E. Kaye. Dated January 1965.

The two photos are the same picture, one is possibly the original with a typescript note adhered to the back, serial number 550-11. The other is a more recent copy.
