A document titled ‘Trustee Savings Banks Joint Computer Project – An Outline of the T. S. B. (Altrincham) Computer System’, dated 22 October 1970. Based on an ICL System 4/70 computer, this system was the first to have a central mainframe with remote terminals in branches, and the software was to facilitate this.
