You will be led through the extraordinary advance in technology over 50 years of computing history. Discover how computers have not only accelerated our lives, but radically transformed them. Come and find out how a computer can be programmed by a strip of paper or what on earth is 01100010 01101001 01101110 01100001 011101010 01111001 (or 'binary' as we humans call it)?

The tour is free (although museum entry charges apply - £12 for adults, £8 for children, £10 for concessions and students, £25 for a family ticket of one adult and two children, and £32 for a family ticket of two adults and two children. Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 

Date: Thursday 20th February 2025
Time: 11 am

The tour will start at 11 am promptly, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Although the event booking is for a specific time, entry to the Centre is permitted all day. The Centre is open from 10am.

Snacks will be available from our Pac-Lunch Shop. There's plenty of seating for parents :)

Spaces for these exciting hands-on events are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place.

Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket.

Cancellations: Due to the limited number of places available for this event, we are unable to refund tickets when cancelled less than 7 days before the event.
