Get into the festive spirit and come and build your very own 3D digital Christmas Tree!

We'll be turning our 80s Classroom into an Electronics Lab for this workshop. We'll have soldering stations set-up and our in-house electronics experts will help you assemble, solder and test your Christmas Tree ready to take home with you.

We have all the tools required to make it, just come along and enjoy the creativity of making your own electronic circuit. Perhaps give it as a Christmas present or put it on display in your bedroom!

No electronics experience is required although you will need a steady hand. 

This is a lively and challenging workshop aimed at children aged 11 years and older. 

This workshop session is priced at £30 per participant and includes the cost of the kit and entry to the museum! For participants under the age of 14, we require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside them. Accompanying adult tickets can be purchased for the normal museum entry price of £12.

This workshop will start promptly at 4 pm, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early.

Please note: Whilst we'll make every effort to help ensure your tree works, careful assembly and soldering is required and we cannot be held responsible for any non-working kits due to poor assembly. 

Although the event booking is for a specific time, entry to the Centre is permitted all day. The Centre is open from 10am.

Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket.

Cancellations: We are unable to provide refunds for cancellations in the 14 days prior to the workshop. This is because we will have purchased the kits. However, you are still welcome to collect your kit from the museum during our normal opening hours.
