Kids Club Night - Wednesday 29th January 2025
Description : Are your Cubs, Brownies, Scouts or Girl Guides working towards a technology or history themed badge? Perhaps you run a local Woodcraft or chess club and you're looking for something new for your club's next excursion? The Centre for Computing History invites local children's clubs to come along and enjoy our Kids Club Night. All those attending will have the opportunity to join a tour focusing on the history of computing followed by time to explore the museum's vast collection of computers and retro computer games. The event starts at 5pm and finishes at 8pm. Clubs can arrive at any time between these hours, although we would advise arriving in time for one of the three Computing History tours which will start at 6pm, 6.30pm and 7pm. We ask that all club members come dressed in uniform or, if this is not possible, we request that club leaders provide official club documentation. Clubs will be expected to follow the DfE guidelines for child to supervising adult ratio: 6:1 if children are aged 5 -7 years, Looking forward to seeing you all on Wednesday 29th January 2025!! PLEASE NOTE - this event is for club bookings only and NOT for individual bookings. Hence, there is a minimum booking requirement of 5 children and 1 adult per booking. Remember - All proceeds go to support our Computing Museum! |
