71-page booklet from the Department of Trade and Industry about the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Centre in Cambridge. The centre, which was based on Madingley Road, was set up in 1969 and assisted in the development of CAD techniques and collaborated with industry in the promotion of the wider application of these methods.

The Department of Trade and Industry directed and controlled the Centre with ICL Dataskil providing the operational management and the majority of the professional staff.
