Wake up, World! is an exciting new resource produced in partnership with Oxfam. It is based upon the higly successful children's book Wake up, World! by Beatrice Hollyer published by Frances Lincoln. The CD-ROM explores the lives of six children around the world: Chidinha from Brazil, Anusibuno from Ghana, Shakeel from India, Sasha from Siberia, Nathaneal from England and Natali from the USA. Interactive activities and photo documentaries introduce the young children to six key themes: Home and Families, Clothes and Weather, Food, Places, School and Play. Activities cover Literacy, Numeracy and Geography objectives.

We are a registered charity. Since opening in 2013, over 160,000 people, including 18,000 school pupils, have visited the Centre. Our visitors deserve a space which is engaging and inspiring, where they can feel a sense of adventure, exploration and wonder!
