This CD-ROM is designed to help teachers deliver the Astronomy content of the National Curriculum to Key Stage 3 & 4 students. Astronomical concepts, such as why we see different phases of the Moon, why the seasons are so varied, and why eclipses occur, are all covered with the help of instructive graphics and animations. Amoung the other areas covered are sections on observing the night sky, how different sorts of telescopes work, the life cycle of a star and a guided tour of the Solar System.
