Description : In this activity, we will be building an orchestra using egg shakers, maracas and triangles! Children will act like 'computers' and create a rhythm together by following instructions. Come and find out if the classroom will be filled with music or with noise when we follow our set of instructions or algorithm (in other words)? This lively activity encourages computational thinking skills while introducing coding concepts such as sequences and loops. This session is aimed at children aged 5-7 and is ideal for children at the Early Years and KS1 levels. Booking is essential. There is no additional charge for the activity but standard museum entry fees apply. We require an accompanying adult to attend the workshop alongside the participants. Date: Tuesday 24th October 2023 This workshop will start at 11 am promptly, so please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Spaces for these exciting hands-on events are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place. Payment is taken by PayPal immediately.
