Originally released by Atari in 1990, players drive several high-powered sports cars on stunt and speed courses. A sequel to 1989's Hard Drivin', it's part of the new generation games that featured 3D Polygon Environments. Unlike most other racing games (apart from Hard Drivin'), the developers of the game attempted to model real car physics movement simulation of player's cars. Similar to Hard Drivin', it includes a true force feedback steering wheel, ignition key, four-speed shifter, three foot pedals, acceleration, brake and clutch. Released in August 1990, 1200 units were produced. It was also ported to a lot of home systems in the mid-1990s, including SNES, Amiga, MS-DOS, Game Boy, PlayStation, Genesis/Mega Drive and Saturn. In 2005, it was included in the Midway Arcade Treasures 3 collection for PlayStation 2 and for X-box.
