69654 Waitress

Description of Photograph

Slide, ink label B, photograph of a young waitress [possibly in an outdoor/garden tea room].

Research comments: The waitress looks to be wearing a typical 'Nippy' uniform. Nippies were the well known and easily recognisable waitresses who worked throughout the Lyons teashops and cornerhouses. (LM)
