A product from New Zealand, this is based on Palm III technology, that has been built into a rugged blue case. The case contains the innards of a Palm III, in a very strong rubber and plastic case. It has it's own lithium battery, and expansion slot for connecting to third party modules. The case has IP67 sealing, which protects it from dust, and can survive being placed in water. Later models of the MEZ1000 offered the PXA270-based MEZ1500 and the PXA320-based MEZ2000, both running either Windows CE or Linux.
