Memo and attached report from Mr. Gregory (Control Office) to John Simmons regarding the past year’s work on the Bakery Valuation Job P1/3 and difficulties with various departments at the Bakery.

Research comments: This document reflects on almost a year of Lyons using LEO I on a commercial program (L3, the Bakery Valuations job). It details a range of issues that have emerged, one of which we still grapple with today: 'garbage in, garbage out'! In other words, the quality of data output by any computer is always limited by the quality of data fed into any computer. (LM)
