This is an association football video game released as part of the Pro Evolution Soccer Series. Its title differs from other games in the series because it is of a year rather than a number. This was because it would otherwise seem that PES were a year behind, since FIFA had started using 2 digit numbers in their game titles, like 08. The game sold 6.37 million units worldwide.
