The Casio fx-602p, released in 1981, was a very popular programmable calculator and is believed to be one of the best calculators ever released by Casio by many enthusiasts. It succeeded the Casio fx-502p, featuring more memory and an alpha-numeric display. It was the last of the Casio step-programmable calculators and alpha was added to compete with the HP-41C. The 10+2 LCD dot-matrix display accommodates 11 alpha characters consisting of upper and lower case letters together with many useful symbols. The unit is programmable with constant memory, totalling of 512 steps and 22 memories. This number can be partitioned, trading in steps for more memories, between 22 and 80 memories are allowed corresponding to between 512 and 32 steps. Our FX-602P was kindly donated by John D'Arcy of Birmingham. Manufacturer: Casio Other Systems Related To Casio FX-602P:
