This is one of the many very generous packs that Atari put together to make the ST more attractive to buyers in the face of the more powerful Commodore Amiga. The problem was that while it gained Atari decent sales in hardware, the publishers of the free games were less than happy, as it was a lost sale to them, Atari only payed a fraction to them of what they would have got separately. In the end a few of the top software houses stopped all production of Atari ST software in protest at their IP continually being given away, and by 1991, most new releases for the machine had dried up. The Tandy Discovery pack was sold in Tandy and maplin stores, and contained a massive 16 top games titles, some utility software, and then two more games disks for good measure! The software included was: Language Disk
