Elite did not produce great games for the 264 machines, Ikari Warriors aside, the games were severely cut down ports from other machines that with the lack of RAM in the C16 was never going to be good. Airwolf, although not as good as versions on other machines, did slightly buck the trend as it was not a bad game, control of the helicopter was not as difficult as other ports, the whole experience is a bit more forgiving. Airwolf was a very popular TV series in the 1980s, about a two man crew of a super sonic helicopter, that in reality would have been destroyed by it's own speed in a second, who were taking on all kinds of home grown terror threats. The game is more like a puzzle game in a split screen format, where the helicopter must be guided through obstacles like closing gates and missiles to reach a secret base, that must be destroyed.
