Millipede is a fixed shooter video game, which is the sequel to the hit game Centipede. It has more gameplay variety and a wider selection of insects than the original game. As with its predecessor, the aim is to score as many points as possible by destroying all parts of the millipede as it moves towards the bottom of the screen. As with the original, it was initially released as an arcade game and then ported to the Atari 2600 (amongst other consoles).
