Edmund Ironside 21 Sept 1924 - 13 January 2020 Lord Ironside (2nd Baron Ironside), an active member of House of Lords, joined first Marconi and in 1959 English Electric. On the merger of English Electric, Marconi and LEO Computers to form EELM, Ironside was appointed head of LEO Government Sales becoming involved in some of the major purchases by the government of LEO III range computers. As a British hereditary peer, Lord Ironside sat in the House of lords from 1959-1999.
