Description : The Altair 8800 is the machine that gave rise to two of the most powerful computer companies of the 80s and 90s... Keiran will be demonstrating this unique machine, which is programmed in binary from the front panel.
This demo will occur at 1pm, and again at 3pm. This will be open to all general visitors and will last approximately 20 minutes, with time for questions and further demonstrations following on for those with a particular interest. No need to book, just come along... (Normal admission charges apply) Remember - All proceeds go to support our Computing Museum! |
