Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What to Eat? is part of Nintendo's Touch! Generations series, which was a group of games designed to make the most of the Nintendo DS system's different functions and broaden the market of the system to people that usually wouldn't be interested in playing video games. With over 200 different dishes from many countries, Cooking Guide talks you through the ingredients, preparation and methods used around the world. The virtual chef will give you a step-by-step guide through recipes, giving verbal explanations of cooking methods and terminologies.
Useful features include voice control, simply stating 'Next' or making any noise into the DS's microphone will move you onto the next step of a recipe without having to use your hands to press a button/touch the screen (incredibly useful if you don't want to get your DS covered in whatever ingredient you're preparing at the time!).
Cooking guide also came with a built in timer and a secret unlocable from Nintendo's Game & Watch archive!
