The MDC 30 is an external floppy disk drive for Amiga. The MDC 30 plays 3.5-inch floppy disks and plugs into the Amiga Disk Drive socket via a 23 pin D connector.

The retail price for the MDC 30 was £119.95. We know this is an early example of a 3.5-inch Amiga floppy disk drive and estimate that it is from 1986.

The MDC 30 was compatible with the Amiga A500, A1000 and the A2000.
