The gameplay is very close to the arcade original, and follows the vertical scrolling formula. Your commando must run up the screen, shooting troops, and grenading entrenched forces, while rescuing prisoners. At the end of the level, gates will open to another area, and the player must fight off a horde of troops and vehicles before proceeding.
