This card contains 512K of memory, and is added to the RM Nimbus PC to extend the onboard memory which would normally have been 512K. There are sockets to add another 512K to this card giving a total of 1.5M. As the 80186 processor could only access 1024K of memory due to the number of address lines it has, the final 512K could only be access by internal hardware as a RAM disk. It can only be used in the Nimbus PC. Later Nimbus PC-186 machines required a smaller card due to the reduced size of the case.
