'Welcome to the TeleVideo world of personal business microcomputers! Your new system is designed to meet a wide
variety of applications from word processing, accounting, and data base management to intensive software development.

You don't need technical expertise to install your system! This User's Manual describes the installation procedure step-by-step and also teaches you how to best utilize the many features of the TS 1603 for your own needs.

Please take the time to read the installation instructions andfamiliarize yourself with the operation of your system. The chapter on using CP/M-86 will introduce you to the first level of computing expertise: using an operating system. In addition to this entry-level chapter there is an in-depth chapter for applications programmers on the video display capabilities of the TS 1603.'
