Does have its own hand made box The first game to use the Super FX chip, which gave the SNES some rudementary polygon shifting ability. Developed in partnership with Argonaut Software, which was born out of a Game boy game called X, which pushed the hand held to it's limits. It was not unusual for the Super Nintendo to use extra hardware in it's carts, but the Super FX chip really gave the machine not only a co-processor, but more like a replacement one for the machine, much of the new routines in the game only used the SFX chip. The game itself was a lot of fun to play with the disfunctional band of pilots led by Fox Macleod saving their home galaxy from the clutches of an evil tyrant, they fight off his invasion force, before taking to space to drive away his armada, before taking the offensive towards a climatic battle with the evil doer himself. Re-named Starwing in Europe, as there was an obscure game called Star Fox still holding the copyright. This would also be the case for Starfox 64, which was a remake of this first game, and would be titled Lylat Wars in Europe.
