This is an action-adventure game based on the DC Comics character Batman, and the eponymous LEGO Batman series of toys. The game shares features in earlier Lego game, but it is the first Lego game to have an original story. The player can control one character from a wide variety of playable characters, as they fight enemies, solve puzzles and collect Lego studs (currency in the game). The game is set in Gotham City and players can fight on land, sea and in the air using an assortment of vehicles including the Batmobile, Batboat and Batwing.
