The Home Computer Course was a 24-part magazine published in 1983-4 by Orbis. It contains articles on a variety of computing topics such as hardware and software, buying guides, gaming and computing history. It was intended as a complete guide to computing for a beginner, as evidenced by its subtitle, 'Mastering Your Home Computer in 24 weeks.' The magazine was succeded by The Home Computer Advanced Course, which ran for a further 96 issues.
This magazine is the 17th issue of The Home Computer Course. It is kept in an original Home Computer Course binder along with the rest of issues 13-24, and we also have issues 1-12, completing the set.
