The Monitor Utility (MONITOR) is a system management tool that enables you to obtain information on operating system performance. Using MONITOR, you can monitor classes of systemwide performance data (such as system I/O statistics, page management statistics, and time spent meach of the processor modes) at specifiable intervals, and produce several types oi output.
