Lemmings is a puzzle video game developed by DMA Design in Dundee and published by Psygnosis for the Apple Macintosh. Programmed by Russell Kay, Mike Dailly and David Jones from an animation that Dailly created with Deluxe Paint. The objective of the game is to guide a group of lemmings through a number of obstacles to the exit by assigning eight different skills to specific lemmings to alter the landscape, to affect the behaviour of other lemmings, or to clear obstacles to create a safe passage.
