Superb God Sim and Side on slashing action rolled into one, made by Enix before they merged with Square. You control an assistant to the gods, who must go down to six different villages in the world below, the first task is performed in a platform slashing mode, where all eveil creatures and a boss must be destroyed, so the villagers live in peace. When this is completed, the game switches to a top down sim like game, where the villagers must be encouraged to build roads and homes, and need to be protected from winged monsters from a hidden lair. Once the villagers discover the lair, it can be built over and destroyed. Each village will also ask for help in completing a task to make the village what it once was, for instance, one will want the power of music restored. When the village is happy and fully developed, it is time to destroy the main boss, so it is time to return to earth and battle more creatures and a new boss. When all the villages have been built, and the last boss vanquished, the game is not over. The player must now battle all the bosses in turn, with the final encounter being a boss not fought before. Thankfully the game has an onboard battery to save one game.
