One of the first ADSL modems to be released in the UK by Alcatel. It was provided to early home broadband customers by BT in the early 2000s. It offered downloads of up to 8 Mbps, which was 200 times faster than previous modems. It was nicknamed the 'Stingray' due to its shape.
