The 2MB Flash Storage Card was a peripheral for Apple's MessagePad family of PDAs that increased the storage capacity of the MessagePad. From the box: "Use the 2MB Flash Storage Card to increase the storage capacity of your Newton MessagePad communications assistant, and to back up your information. For example, your Newton MessagePad lets you store up to 250 name cards (name, title, company, address, and three phone numbers), 200 notes of up to 50 characters, 500 calendar appointments, and 35 screens of uninterpreted text and drawings. This 2MB Flash Storage Card can store eight times as much information as your Newton MessagePad. The 1MB Storage Card can store four times as much information."
