Bionicle (also known as Lego Bionicle) is an action-adventure video game released in September 2003. Produced by Electronic Arts, the game was made available for GameCube, Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Microsoft Windows and PC (and later Mac OS X by Feral Interactive). The game is based on parts of the movie Bionicle: Mask of Light and other parts of the Bionicle storyline. Initially, the game was supposed to make each Toa - Toa Nuva and the Toa of Light - playable, but due to deadlines, much of the game was dropped. However, all of the characters are playable in the Game Boy Advance version.
"Bionicle puts the elemental powers of the Toa at your fingertips to battle the forces of evil. Summon blasts of fire, ice, water, stone, earth, and air in six island environments. With Toa energy, you can snowboard down Mount Ihu, surf through lava rapids, and race through Pohatu's desert. Your path takes you through jungles, mountains, and lakes, and ends in Makuta's lair. It's up to you to defeat the evil spirit and stop his Bohrok from devouring all of the island's resources."
