The TI Programmer calculator, released in 1977, was advertised by Texas Instruments as "a calculator that's of very little use to 99.9994% of the population." The TI Programmer was aimed at those who worked in computer programming to help programme, debug and trouble-shoot their work. The TI Programmer is capable of number base calculations in base 8, 10, or 16. It was also capable of number base conversions. If you entered a number in base 8, 10, or 16, with the touch of a key the number was quickly converted to either of the other number bases. A convenient mode indicator told you what number base you were operating in. The Programmer quickly handles arithmetic computations too, in all three bases. It gives immediate answers to binary computer problems. The TI Programmer had an eight-digit LED display. It had a built-in rechargeable battery pack, and could be used with an AC power supply. Our calculator is in excellent condition with power supply, soft cover, manual (ref: 1015812-1), and the original packaging.
