This manual is user documentation for a subroutine package which allows the user to use the Gould printer/plotter on the Data General Eclipse maintenance control unit, as a plotter. The package runs on the Cray-1 and disposes plotter files directly. The only processing which is carried out on the Data General is that required to read the disk file in raster mode onto the plotter. A simple CLI command performs this operation.

The package has been designed to be upwards compatible on Calcomp basic software. Calcomp basic software has ten possible calls. This package has 21 calls of which 10 are similar to Calcomp, 3 are utilities which enable the user to control output appearance, 5 are utilities which are used internally and may be useful to the user, 2 are utilities which are use internally, and should not be used by the user, and 1 is for debugging.
