Learn to Read 4 is the alphabet program in the Learn to Read series. Using various stimulating activities, the program gives children plenty of practice in working with the alphabet, matching initial letters to words and pictures, and spotting missing letters. In this way, children soon become familiar with simple sequences within the alphabet. The program is full colour and fun and children will want to return to it again and again as they develop and extend their reading skills. The Learn to Read series is derived from Macmillan Education's best-selling reading scheme called Gay Wat, which is widely used in primary schools. The software offers a unique opportunity for parents, as well as teachers, to share and participate in children's first experience of reading.
