This program is a simulation of an Advanced Gas Cooled Reactor (AGR). The behaviour of the reactor core, the boiler and the turbine can be considered separately by using the appropriate section of the program. In each of these sections, default values for parts of the system not being considered are automatically chosen to ensure that the reactor is in a viable working condition. It is also possible to consider the behaviour of the system as a whole.

The results of running the reactor are displayed on the screen numerically and graphically. There is an option within the program which enables these results to be recorded using a printer as the program runs.
